FORM / ATLAS
AI-augmented workspace for rapid brief intake, semantic triage, and structured specification synthesis.
# Target: Unified Specification Pipeline
A high-density workspace concept designed to ingest raw unstructured briefs, extract structured requirements, and generate auditable design specifications.
> Rule: All extracted requirements must be verified against schema contracts before export.
Dual-pane canvas separates raw source brief from machine-parsed entities.
The interactive prototype on this site renders deterministic token streams and simulated multi-pane state to demonstrate interface ergonomics without cloud inference dependencies.
Backend infrastructure including distributed event queues, local CRDT synchronization, and edge validation schemas represent the proposed architectural design for this concept, rather than deployed commercial systems.
Context
- ↳Studio Research Memo
- ↳Workflow Topology Map
Modern product teams spend extensive time deciphering messy customer inputs, unformatted meeting transcripts, and fragmented PRDs.
FORM / ATLAS was initiated as an internal studio exploration to test how structured language models can transform raw product notes into inspectable, versioned requirement models.
Challenge
Most generative tools present a generic conversational box, concealing their reasoning chain and offering zero guarantees against hallucinations.
Our challenge was to eliminate black-box prompts and construct an interface where reviewers inspect, verify, and override every synthesized artifact at a granular level.
Approach
We decoupled generation into discrete state machines: raw ingestion, semantic entity parsing, schema validation, and human editorial triage.
By enforcing structured outputs rather than conversational prose, the system produces deterministic data frames designed to feed directly into product backlog systems.
Design System
- ↳Typography Hierarchy Matrix
- ↳Keyboard Navigation Spec
We developed a high-density, low-latency editorial interface using strict monochromatic tones and typographic hierarchy.
Interactive elements prioritize tactile response, high-contrast states, and keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+Enter to triage, J/K for queue navigation).
Engineering & Architecture
The frontend architecture utilizes optimistic updates and streaming response hydration for seamless document editing.
The proposed production architecture couples distributed event queues with vector similarity search, while this website demo runs entirely client-side for instantaneous feedback.
Proposed production design incorporates streaming SSE endpoints and edge-cached validation schemas; the current site runs client-side simulation.
Outcome & Verification
FORM / ATLAS demonstrates that dense, keyboard-driven workspaces are significantly more effective than conversational chat bots for complex specification work.
The interaction model proved that strict schema constraints and inline human inspection eliminate the uncertainty typically associated with AI-generated specifications.
